Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble registering my wife with a GP, they want proof of address but with her being here only 5 days I'm not really sure what I can provide.

Obviously, we don't have anything in her name registered to my parents house. She can't register on the electoral role and without a basic proof of address I'm sure she won't be able to take out a phone contract or open a bank account which will in turn prove proof of address.

I know there will be many people who have experienced this so could someone shed some light and give me an idea of what todo?

Thanks

Callum

I suppose the only thing I can suggest is something with your name on, such as utility bills, driving licence etc (it may be difficult if you are living with your parents). Plus her visa and marriage certificate. This should satisfy the GP surgery.
