Hi Everyone,

My wife just received her Schengen visit visa (I being an EU citizen). We are flying out on Sunday to France and we just found a slip in her passport which said she should carry proof of accommodation.

The problem is we don't have proof. We are staying at my dad's house but he lives in the UK. It would be impossible for us to get the letter from the Mairee.

So firstly is it likely that we will be asked for proof of accommodation? Secondly as she will be travelling with me her spouse does she have to provide this proof? She didn't to get the visa. I don't know if she has a right not to provide proof?

At the moment my only plan is to make sure we know the address and maybe take some photo's showing where we are staying. Any other ideas?

Thanks guys

Copy of his mortgage documents, deeds if he has no mortgage? Copies of utility bills he has paid in the property?
