Hi

I have been in 457 for 2 years and my employer agreed to sponsor ENS. Since I worked with this sponsoring employer for only 12 months I got to lodge the application before the 1st July - as the ENS requirement changing to 24 months with sponsoring employer.

I have engaged with migration agent to pursue Visa 856 and part of the requirement as everyone knows was to undergo X-Ray & Medical Check. The problem is my wife unable to go for Xray due to pregnancy. Since I live in Sydney for the past 2 years, can Xray be waived and only carry out the blood test ?

Other threads in the forum do not cover onshore application situation.

Please advise.

Thanks

I've confirmed with DIAC - this can be waived and depending on the supporting documents (i.e doctor confirmation report on pregnancy). The condition need to be included into the exceptional circumstances.
