Hi,

I'd like some advice on a visitor visa application that has been rejected twice. Its for a 4 year old child who requires a visa for the UK but her mother is a US passport holder and doesn't need one. The mother has been unable to travel to the UK to visit family for 2 years as her child keeps getting rejected.

I have done research and asked solicitors and they have pointed me in the direction of a Pre-action Protocol.

1- Is it the right way to go about this?
2- What format shall I use?
3- What information shall I include?
4- Can I do it myself or do I need a rep?
5- Is the option if emailing the HO a good idea?

Thank you in advance
Zara
