I am working as a database administrator specializing Microsoft SQL Server and planing to migrate to Australia.

I have already got the positive skill assessment and completed the IELTS with the band score of 6.0.

My ASCO code is 2231-79 specializing Microsoft SQL Server which is not in either DIAC demand list or DIAC Critical list.

But I'm looking for the Visa category, Skilled – Independent Subclass 176 and the intended state is Western Australia. My job is in demand list in this state. But I don't have an employer to sponsor me. I can only apply for the state sponsorship.

As per the new priority processing introduced recently, my VISA option comes in 5th place out of 7 priority processing categories which is mentioned below.

"applications from people who are nominated by a State/Territory government whose nominated occupation is not listed on the CSL"

Will there be any chance me to migrate to Australia? If so what options I have?

Shall I proceed with the next step of applying the state sponsorship from the Wester Australia state?
