Hi all,

I am moving into my house in France in less than two weeks. As you can imagine it will be quite chaotic for the first couple of weeks. We have purchased a pool testing kit but was wondering if it would be best to get the pool serviced to kick start the process. When we were over at Xmas the pool was very clear and it sits under a glass dome? Can anyone give me advice on pool servicing and approx cost please.

Thanks

Ann

When we arrived 4 years ago we got the local pisciniste to show us how it all worked. Well worth while! Whatever you do don't let the water turn to pea soup. If it's a Chlorine pool keep it topped up with long duration tablets....other things like pH, conditioner etc can wait.

Ours is at 25...nearly the 27 for me to dip my toe in.

If your pool is salt or bromine oparated I can't help!

Thanks DejW

It's a heated chlorine pool. Let's hope it gets up to temp before I get there. I will get a local company to come in an set us off.

Many thanks
