Hi,

One of my friend is planing to apply for NZ immigration.

He is 32 Years old and has a B.Sc (Electronics), M.Sc (Applied Electronics) & M.S (Quality Management)

Can someone advise, how much points will be calculated as for the above qualifications are concerned or point me to a place which can help us understand this please.

Thanks in anticipation.

BR,
Shankar

All depends which qualification your friend uses on the application and whether or not it is exempt from assessment or needs assessment by NZQA. You can only claim for one so you would normally claim for the qualification that is going to achieve the most points through the whole EOI process.
If any qualification isn't exempt you will need to provide evidence that it meets the required equivalent level in NZ and this can only be done by qualification assessment. You cannot assume or guess the equivalent level just because the qualification from overseas states Bachelors or Masters.

Before he comes please get him to do his homework with regard to NZ. I've lived here in NZ for 13 years and it's time to leave.
