So it's getting down to that time, and I want to just go over everything here to just make sure everything seems right and I am not missing anything.
US Wife Looking to stay with UK husband
Me and My Fiancé are getting married at a civil ceremony in NH on March 26. With the ceremony since it's at the town hall and with their JP we get the Marriage Certificate the next day.
We then plan on doing the application process in the days following. Does that seem to soon?
As far as the supporting Documents go:
Proof of relationship:
We have photos, cards, letters, phone bills, and tickets from when we traveled around new england via coach together, and plane tickets from each others visits, obviously we will have our marriage certificate.
Finances:
He has stable full-time work, as a Night Support Worker in a Rehabilitation / specialist care home. He makes about £980-£999 after taxes. We took out a loan a few months ago for wedding expenses and such, so he had £4K in his bank account in Feb. Prior to that around £1k a month in his bank account roughly.
We can get his mother to co-sponsor us, and she makes around £1500-£2000 a month.
Accommodation:
He is on a joint mortgage with his mother on the house ( 3 Bedroom ) Where we will be staying after the visa is approved. He pays £335-£370 per month for the mortgage / household expenses.
I have been here in the UK with him, in this house, with him supporting me entirely for the past 6 Months on a visitor visa, so I have not been working. I only have around 750 $USD in my checking account back in the USA, and thats when my tax returns came in in Feb. Prior to that my account has just been deactivated as I left it inactive when I came to visit the UK. Will this help my chances?
He is missing his Feb and Dec payslip, but there are regular deposits from the same company into his bank account and he has all the other payslips. - Can we just disclose this in the letter?
If I can think of anything else to add or ask I will, but if you need more info let me know. Does our application seem viable? I would like to able to fly back to the UK with him to our home after out marital visit to the US is over, Well be heading back no later than 12-13th of april, and paying for priority, and NYC is only about 3 Hrs from where we are located, so mail isnt very long. So I am hoping, and generally freaking out / stressing.
