Hi All ,

I am in process of applying Australian PR visa, all my documentation is done however in term of reference letter for current employment i am in a dilemma.

I have taken reference declaration from one of my senior colleague in our Org, however i am having problem in Org Hierarchy document since we have to take signature of Colleagues manager in Org Chart, but in my scenario since my reference is a senior colleague of mine, however we both report to same manager, since this reference is for my current employment i am reluctant to approach my manager and give his details in Org Hierarchy chart as this can hamper my future growth in company.


Please do suggest me , as i am done with rest of documentation , and was waiting for some one to suggest me on this.

I am Senior Consultant, my reference is Principal Consulant and our Manager is Practice Manager.

Tricky Tricky....
Same situation arised for me the last time i applied, but I was on good terms with one of the Senior Management, I explained my intentions, and she was glad to sign off....... Then the following year during the performance review, she mentioned to the Management Team that she 'feels'i had intention to migrate and leave the company, and that year i only recieved a 2 week end of year bonus....... so this is a very tricky area....

You might want to ask yourself how long you intend to stay in the organisation? Because i believe when you give a hint of wanting to leave, the organisation will either talk to you to persuade u to stay, stunt your growth in your current position, or cut their losses.

Thanks for providing valuable insight, for sure i am not going to ask our manager to sign it, as i am looking for long term tenure with company.

Is is possible to skip Org Hierarchy or can i take signature of person who is providing reference on Org Hierarchy.

as per the email response this applicant got on Statutory Declaration was this -
Statutory declarations
*
Please do not forget that if you
are going to provide a Statutory Declaration in place of an employer reference,
you must also include any two of the following:
*
1. Reference from
ex-colleague/manager
*
2. Employment
offer/contract
*
3. Payslips
*
4. Letter of
Appreciation/award


So Employment Offer and last 4-5 months payslip, including the current months payslip should help I guess? Also you may include bank statement. Current official emails exchanged back and forth, obviously with non-confidential stuff, that will help I believe to prove that you are currently working in that same organization.
