I am applying for further leave to remain soon and I have realised that I may have "dropped the ball" by having not changed my maiden name on my passport to my married name. I use my maiden name to travel with, but I do go by my married name in all other areas of my life. I would barely have time to send it off and get it changed before submitting our application as it stands, however, I will be traveling back to the states during this time which will give me only one week before my visa expiration date. If anyone has any suggestions, please, I would be so grateful.
If I send my marriage certificate (I was going to anyway) will they be alright with that?
My visa states my maiden name 'to partner with (my husband's name)'
What about the 28 day extension?
