Dears,

As you can see my timeline... yesterday i issued a PLE and got the following response:

Thank you for your email in relation to your visa application under
Australia's General Skilled Migration program.

Please be advised your medical examinations have been received & attached
to your visa application for your case officer's attention.

Notes on file confirm that your case officer is still waiting for the
internal checking process to be completed. The timing for the completion of
these checks varies from one case to another depending on individual
circumstances. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide you with a definitive
timeframe for finalisation of your application as some cases may take many
months to finalise.

The case officer is following up on the status of your case on a regular
basis to ensure it is being processed as soon as practicable. You will be
contacted if we require more information when they proceed with processing
your application.

We appreciate your patience in this matter.

Yours sincerely,

What does it mean internal checking process ?? any ideas?? how long it usually takes?

Regards,

Same situvation happend to me also.
Instead of sending a plea i called Diac and in the very 5th day Job verification came.
For me also they told that CO is doing some internal check of your file.
Also told me that a time frame cannot be given and have to wait.

Hi,

Little confusion, your signature showing that Visa is granted, and while you are saying Internal checks are in process, how can they issue Visa while checks are not complete.

After getting this msg .. how long they take to finalize application 175/CSL..........Any idea ?????????????

Thank you for your e-mail in relation to your visa application under
Australia's General Skilled Migration programme.

The Department of Immigration and Citizenship recognises that the time
taken to process your application may be causing you and your family
concern.

We are seeking to finalise your application as soon as possible. You
will appreciate, however, that all non-citizens applying for visas to
enter Australia are considered on their individual merits and against
legal requirements set out in Australia’s migration legislation. This
often includes requirements for mandatory health, character and national
security or other checks that are undertaken by other agencies and can
take some time.

The timing for the completion of the checks varies from one case to
another depending on individual circumstances. Unfortunately, I am
unable to provide you with a definitive timeframe for finalisation of
your application as some cases may take many months to finalise.

You can be assured, however, that the Department of Immigration and
Citizenship staff will do all they can to ensure that your application
is finalised as quickly as possible.

You will be contacted if we require additional information to process
this application. We appreciate your patience in this matter.

For any further enquiries about the application you have lodged please
refer to our website using the following link
