Dear All,

Actually i am planning to apply for immigration, but i need your help in finding good lawyer or consultant here in dubai!

As a matter of fact i visited some of them but i felt that all of them are greedy and useless and won't care properly about me once they get their payment.

Wish someone can guide me through this issue!!!

Thanx in advance and waiting your kind assistance.

Regards,

Sab:)

You dont need a lawyer, you need a Registered Migration Agent

Who does not even need to be based in the same country as you. Many people use agents in Australia or elsewhere because you dont need to be face to face. A reputable agent will be able to handle your case via email and telephone.

But you might find one one there near you. I wouldnt even think about using someone not registered personally, not worth the hassle and no one to complain to if things go wrong.
The process is simple and self explanatory ...and with this forum you can easily do the whole process yourself..

Avoid this agent at all costs : Y-Axis Overseas,Hyderabad

they are thugs and cheaters..

Find a MARA registered agent..

Welcome to the forum! Be assured you have reached the right place to get answers to your migration related queries.

Go through the DIAC website thoroughly. Spend some time on the website reading the process. I agree with lifeisgood that the process is straightforward and simple. You just need to have all the right papers together.

Moreover, go through some threads, post some questions if you have and this forum can solve all your doubts.

All the best.
Hey guys,

I wanna thank all of you for your positive comments and really i went through all the details and i am doing it myself, but while checking my points through the skill assessment table i found few things that might affect my application, so i hope you can advise me what to do!

Now i am planning to apply for Construction Project Manager occupation and this one will be assessed by VETASSESS not Enginees Australia; according to the occupation's requirements, i have the following scores:

1- Age (32), so i have 30 points
2- Qualifications (Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering), so i have (15 Points)
3- Professional Experience (I have more than 8 years), but i have only experience letters (sealed and signed) by all my employers and few documents to proof that i have been working with them. (So are they going to approve all of those 8 years or not!!!)
The last point will give me 15 points if it is approved. By the way i have PMP (Project Management Professional Certificate) which is globally recognized and also i have more than 4 professional courses i.e. Cost Engineering, Planning (Primavera), Safety & many others certificates and all of them are sealed and signed; so such documents will support my case or not!

By the way, i can't approach any of my previous employers to get more documents from them, in case i need to.

So anyone can help me in this regard!

Appreciate your advice in return.

I'm sorry to tell you but all lawyers are greedy and useless and don't care about people until they get their payment

Seriously, if you take the IELTS and maybe seek state sponsorship you should get more than enough points. Best wishes ~
Hi silentmoon80,

Do you have any paystub documentation from your previous employers? Bank statements showing the deposits of these paystub is some proof of working for those employers. Here in the US, we have W2 forms that we receive from our employer that we need in order to file for income taxes, etc. Does Dubai or another country you may have worked have this type of documentation? I believe the DIAC requires documentation that you did get paid for your work.
You have not considered IELTS and State sponsorship points...
You are in really good shape points-wise...
All those certifications will definitely help...
The whole process is pretty much straight forward and with this forum you will get answers to ALL your ques..
So start away by preparing for IELTS ..:)
I wil suggest you to go for SS bcoz the processing time is 1 month..If you are not in a hurry and are ready to wait for 8-9 months then 175 is the best option..

Hi jb 12,

Actually in the countries i have been working for there was no such document i.e. pay stub, but i have a draft copy of my resignation slip and a salary certificate which states clearly my salary with each employers. Unfortunately, i don't have any other proof like bank statement or pay slip other than those i have already explained earlier. So are these kind of documents enough as a proof that i have been paid by them or not!

Hi lifeisgood,

As you know at this stage applying to SS or General visa is not required and it will come once your documents get approved by VETASSESS then before lodging your documents to DIAC, you can choose between SS or General. Here comes my concern i.e. the output of VETASSESS's Assessment (Approved Scores).

Regarding IELTS i will do it within couple of weeks so it wont be a problem to me.

What i want to know is: how does VETASSESS assess my case i.e. applying for Construction Project Manager based on my profile/profession/qualifications/experience/proofs?

Again, thanks a lot for your comment. :)

I need an expert plz!!!!

My documents will be assessed by VETASSESS as a construction project manager, so does any one have any experience about this occupation!

I am basically a mechanical engineer and working as a project manager, so is there anybody who applied for the same occupation!

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Sab
