Good evening all

I am planning to move to Spain from South Africa. I would like information about the most cost effective way to do this please.

I am retired and not planning to working in Spain. My wife and I are self sufficient from a financial point of view.

What would be the easiest and most cost effective way to do this?

Thank you for your assistance.

You need to contact the Spanish Consulate where you live - South Africa? Ask about a non-lucrative visa & they will tell you exactly how to apply. You apply through your nearest consulate, so what they ask for, is what you need.

Pages - Long-Term Visas

This wouldn't give you permanent residency - that can only be applied for after 5 years of legal residency in Spain.
