My wife has 21 years in European pension years and 4 years in UK, and both are easy to prove. She mentioned this when applying to buy extra contribution years and she has just been told by the DWP that she does not have the minimum 10 years in order to claim in UK! I need to answer back with evidence. She will be claiming the Old pension. My problem is I cannot find on any official British site that foreign years entitle you to some payout. Can anyone help?

Thanks
