Hi Folks,

I had my passport in hand to apply for my ACS, then EOI but
My passport is lost somewhere while i was travelling back from
Work. I had it with me as i wanted to get it scanned from my office scanner.

Now i have applied for a new one and the new passport will have a ref no of previous passport. So will it effect my immigration case as a collegue of mine said it will make my case weak.

:( im so much tense plz reply guys

Hi Faani,

As far as my understanding goes, with all the reading on this forum, you have nothing to worry. Go ahead with you application. You ultimately get your visa with the new passport number on it, since you will be adding your new passport number wherever required now on.

Thanks,
Shilpa
