Hi guys,

I will be lodging my partner visa application onshore next week.
Just one question.. Will it help in decreasing the chance of DIAC not to ask for an Assurance of Support from my partner/sponsor if I include a job offer in my partner visa application? Coz I do have a job offer from a prospective employer.

Looking forward to your replies.

Ta!

Hi,

I'm not an agent but I'm pretty sure that your partner will have to go through the assurance of support part. It won't make any difference if you have a job offer or not.

In the checklist it says you have to include form 40SP 'Sponsorship for a partner to migrate to Australia'.

Hi,

They do ask for the assurance of support, so I would certainly include it, and I could attach the job offer just to show you have a job offer. We need to comply with what is asked for to have an application with a positive result.

Best wishes, Also waiting for my Spouse visa,

Heaps of thanks, Dolly and Busyte.

Yeah, I think I'll include the job offer in my visa application. It's not a formal letter of offer though. It's just an email from my prospective employer. I hope that will do.

Good luck on your application too, Busyte.
