Hello everyone,

I am very close to having what I believe is all my paperwork and evidence for the above visa ready to send into the High Commission. I have recently had my ACPO Police check returned too.

I wanted to have my medical done in advance, however was told I needed to be given a particular number from the High Commission before this was possible. Is this the case or have I, or the lady at the authorised Doctors got something wrong here?

I have read of other people doing this in advance and so am curious why this may not be the case for me and the visa I am applying for.

I am in the same situation, a CO was appointed, and I need a special request with reference number from him first. Than I will be able to make an appointment for health check.

I lodged my application last August (with my police check) to the Australian Embassy in London. When the application is received they then email you a reference number which you need to give to the Practice when you go for your medical.
