Hi,

My friend has a requirement and I checked and couldn't find the answer so posting here.
He has 12+ years of experience, currently employed. His wife has 5+ year of experience currently NOT employed. Both belong to MTSSL/SOL list for 189. So to claim partner skill, is it necessary that spouse has to be currently employed? Anyone who done with above scenario kindly reply

No. Only the Skills Assessment is required for Spouse 5 points, not even education or work exp is required. Just a letter with an occupation code will do.
