I know there has been many post regarding parent visa but I am more confused rather than clear after goind through them (stupid me)

My father is 65 and Mom is 55. Both are doing very badly health-wise(diabetics and other issues). I am PR since 2 yrs and my elder bro is Aus Citizen.

1. Best chance of getting 12 mons tourist visa is with Sponsered or regular tourist visa ???
2. Once onshore, if I assume for regular parent visa (10 yrs waiting), do they have to go back or they can stay on brigding visa while waiting for parent visa. I guess no. So if I apply for contributory parent visa (2 yrs waiting), can they get briding visa for 2 years?
3. Have anyone explored other ways to get parents like Investment or Retirement?

Sorry for long questions. Thanks Parent Visa experts.
