Hello,

I am filling out the Personal Details Form (VAF4A) and on the question
6.1 "Have you travel to the UK in the last 10 year?" I will have to say that I had overstayed?! (almost 2 years).
Would that be a major problem on their decision? What should I do?

Thank you!

Of course you have to reveal it. You should attach a note explaining why you did it and making it clear that you're contrite.

And to add to what AmyD said, yes, it could be a major problem. Be honest in your answer as any deception (ie. if you lie and are caught) can mean a 10 year ban. Be remorseful and accept all responsibilities. Good luck.
