Hi folks,
Well it looks like at long last I'm heading out your way on Sunday. I have a 3 month contract working as an outdoor instructor in RAK. The work is predominantly with the UAE forces at the moment doing adventure training in the form of climbing, mountaineering, mountain biking and sea kayaking.
If my face fits the. There is long term work on the cards so itsgoing to be an I interesting few months that I'm really looking forward to.
There seems to be quite a bit of rock climbing developement gone on out there in recent times with, apparently, the first guide book coming out soon so that should be interesting. There also seems to be developement going on on the mountain bike front too.
I'm having a real trauma between bringing out my road or mountain bike at the moment and I have a feeling it will go right down to the wire!
I've been reading all sorts of stuff on the forum and I'd just like to say thanks for everyone who contributes, the info is greatly appriciated
maybe I'll catch up with some of you at some point
