Our and about in Bordeaux

Hello folks,

Does anyone know this city well? The last few times I was there I found myself circling the Vinotheque then back to Rue Sainte Catherine then back and then back again. What would you recommend doing. I want to get to learn the city and I will be on foot. I don't drive in France yet. So, any suggestions, maybe your favourite places in Bordeaux. I will check it out with pleasure.
