Problem is from bank side (American CC). U have to contact and authorise international transactions of that amount.
Indian CC will charge additional 3.5% foreign currency transaction charges along with DIBP 0.98% .
Options of Making Payment of Visa Fee to DIBP
Hi,
I am trying to make the Visa Fee payment to DIBP against an invitation received for Skilled Independent 189 visa. I have an American Express CC but the payment got declined for an unknown reason while making the transaction. Has anybody faced a similar issue and may help me understand the reason. I will also contact Amex CC, which will eat up more time.
Does anybody have an idea if we may make the payment using my Indian Credit Card (Master Card) from an Indian Bank (Yes Bank or SBI)?
What are the other possible options - Paypal is charging a very high fee.
