Hi all,

I would like to ask for your all help on my issue.

I am non UK resident and my partner is UK citizen. We are looking for openning a joint account which we belive can help us to get unmarried partner or spouse visa. I have researched in my country Vietnam but all said no until we get marriage certificate ( I have asked local bank as well as HSBC, standard chartered bank etc).

Do you know any bank in UK can make one for us when I travel there with tourist visa?

Thanks in advance :)

What is going to help you get an unmarried partner or spouse visa is if you meet the financial, accommodation and relationship requirements. An unmarried partner visa requires that you have lived to together in a relationship akin to marriage for at least 2 years with joint responsibilities including a joint bank account. If you haven't, then you don't qualify. Whether or not you have a joint bank account if you marry will have little impact on obtaining a spouse visa.
