Hi guys,

Just a question for those who experienced the same. I did my medical last October 18 I was found to have an old PTB scar which I had in 2006. I was asked to do the sputum and repeat x-ray in 3 months. As far as I know, the validity of the medical would just be 6 months instead of one year as far as IED is concerned. My question is, would the start of the 6 months be from the date that I had my medical, which was October 18? Or the date that I will be cleared of my medical, which would some time around February 2018?

Thanks in advance for responses.

Medical tests are always valid for 12 months. If you are asked for the 815 health undertaking then your IED will be 6 months from the date you sign this undertaking.

Ohh.. I see... So the reference date of that six months is the date of the undertaking. Just the answer that I needed. Thanks mate!
