Hi there,

My US citizen wife received her fiancée visa on 12-06-12 and we received her FLR as a spouse in October 2012. This means as I understand, we fall under the old rules throughout, including ILR as a spouse in late 2014.

I have two questions. Firstly, is there anywhere that still describes the old rules and guidance thoroughly? The UKBA site seems to have taken this down.
Secondly, will my wife have to take the Life in the UK test?

Many thanks as always,

Jake

Your wife does have to take the Life in the UK test.

ETA: SET(M) information for Pre July 9, 2012 applicants.
