On recent document checklists I've seen, it looked like some applicants were including their old passport as well as their current one. I got my current one in 2014 when I got married and changed my name. Do I need to include an old one from before that time if I apply for a spouse visa in 2018? In the old one, I would have my student visa stamp for when I studied in UK and met my spouse in 2011 and maybe a few UK visit stamps, but I am really not sure where that old passport is or if I still have it. Is it required? Thanks!

Yikes, ok. I'll have a good search for it. If I need to explain that it's lost, can I write a letter to that effect and include it with my application materials or does it need to be a notified letter or something else?

Thanks again for the good advice! I'll be around these forums a lot this year I think. :)
