Hello everyone!
I need to get the signature on an insurance form notarized by someone certified as a US notary public. The woman at the insurance company in the US told me that they would either accept the signature of someone at the US consulate or that of an American bank that might have a notary public on its staff.
So here is the BIG question: Do you know of an American bank in Paris that might have a notary public able to verify a signature?
Merci beaucoup for your help!

Generally, no. For a US notary public, you need to go to the US Consulate in Paris. And yes, it costs. Notarial Services | Embassy of the United States Paris, France for details.

There are no "American banks" in Paris. Banks in France have to be organized under French banking law - and notary publics generally have to be authorized/registered with a US State or county government agency.
Cheers,
Bev

There is a service in US that will permit you to do a legal US notary online NotaryCam. Real low price around $25 US - check it out-good luck
