Notarized Documents

Hi,

I am getting my documents to be ready for ACS. I need help on notarizing the docs. I want to know, how the documents to be sent for ACS.

I have my educational certificates copies- I will get the photo copies notarized.

I have the reference letters in stamp papers- Here I am confused, do these stamp paper(original docs) to be notarized and to be sent to ACS?

Also few of my docs are translated from Hindi to English, does getting them notarize is sufficient?
