Hi folks ,
I am a Skilled Technician with Many years expirience & have recently completed the points Entry test & fallen Short , to my Utter despare & disapointment ! Have i done this form Correctly , are there Other options ? On a recent " Wanted Down Under " , a Gandfather found himself a Job, house etc & continued installing Satelite systems .
I am over 2 years away from the Big 50 , but feel maybe I have missed the Boat , by 10 yrs or so ! Rob

You didn't miss the boat. New changes in visas are supposed to recognize that more experience is better. RSMS and ENS visa age limit will be lifted from 40 to 50 years (see DIAC website).
Also you might want to look at state sponsorship.
