Hello expats,
I am planning to apply Newzealand PR, I have a confusion in calculating my points for skilled migration visa. When i calculated, i got 120 points which is not eligible to get selected automatically (140 points). I need some help from the experts in this forum to help me in calculating point with my below information.

Citizen Indian
Age 7-Feb-81
Degree BE
Specialization Electrical & Electronics engineering
Institution University of Madras
IELTS score 6.5 (Overall)
Skill Software Testing(entire experienc)
Newzealand Job offer NIL
India Experience 7 years 2 months
Australia experience on 457 Visa 1 year 6 months
SPOUSE
Spouse Degree B.Sc. Nursing
Spouse skill Registered Nurse in India
Spouse exp 2 years as staff nurse + 2 years nursing tutor
Spouse Age 30
Spouse IELTS not written

Hmmm...

Your spouse having an English qualification(ilets) may help you you claim more points and if you get your education qualification certified by nzqa that should be some more points there. Not sure if it will get u 140 but might actually.

Hopefully someone else will have more in this.

Thankyou so much for the quick response.
Even my spouse also should get 6.5 avg in Ielts?
Do I need to certify my education from nzqa before my EOI? Sorry my question may be basic.
I know the PR procedure in Australia but I am new to newzealand PR process.

Yes. Many get the nzqa before eoi.
Test this theory by recalculating points , just select that you have an nzqa qualification and put that your spouse has ilets just to see the if your points increase in the point calculator .
