Reading briefly, no great changes. Where applicant fails to meet the financial requirement under Appendix FM, and there are exceptional circumstances, Home Office must consider other sources of income and support, including by a third party. This will only be considered if rejecting the application would cause considerable disruption to family life and would breach the provision of Human Rights Act. Other minor changes include possibility of being returned to 5-year route after being placed on 10-year route if the applicant later can meet the financial requirement, partner of those under refugee or human right provision can only get settlement after their partner, and minor clarification on English test.
Updated guidance to follow.
