Hi everyone, i am Gaurav from new Delhi, i have lots of questions if anyone can answer me that would be a great help. I dont wana use migration agent as all of them are only after money with no proper help.

we are a family of 4 members including me i am 29, my wife, and my 2 girls.

1. My first question is which visa subclass to apply for, as my Anzasco code is 261211 Multimedia specialist.

2. Regarding work documents i have completed my education in 2010 and after that i have worked in a company for 3 yrs and 1 month. need format for work experience, working hours and job schedule as asked by ACS.

3. I have given general IELTS and scored L7.R6.W6.5.S.7.5 overall 6.5 will this be enough for State sponsership for Canberra.

Download the two PDFs in this page:

ACT Occupation List - Migrating - Canberra - Create your future

1. State Sponsorship visa is SC 190.

2. There's a sample: http://acs.org.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0019/7570/Skilled-Employment-Reference-Example.pdf

You should also go through: http://www.acs.org.au/__data/assets...ills-Assessment-Guidelines-for-Applicants.pdf

3. Well in case of IELTS it seems Overseas residents need 7.0 overall, check further.

Hi sunlight11

Thank you very much for quick reply.

I am glad u helped me with the experience letter as it was very difficult to get proper format from migration agents and just for it i have to pay 60k. can u please answer my few more questions.

1. can i add my IT diploma which i did in 2005 from NIIT for assessment as my degree is in Media Studies (3d animation and digital film making).

2. I have done certificate courses from MAAC in 2006 after which i joined as a junior animator with a company and did job for 1yr 10 months with them, i have joining letter, reliving letter and experience letter, but dont have pay slips now.

can i show it for adding in my experience (this was before i did my graduation degree in 2010 after coming back from Australia in 2008, we lived in sydney for 10 months on spouse visa and my wife on student visa but had to come back due to baby was born there)

i can try and get job description letter if necessary.

I think these will help me with assessment, can u please comment on it if u have any idea.

Hi,

1. A diploma will have no effect in case of a completed Bachelor is presented, however, you can submit the Diploma as NIIT Diplomas are considered 'AQF Diploma' anyway, it may make your ACS application stronger.

2. Certificate courses will not be counted, and you do not need any pay-docs for ACS.

3. Yes all of your relevant work experiences Before\During\After Graduation will be counted for assessment (must be FT by DIBP's definition and at the required professional level), but DIBP will only take those after Bachelor for EOI points purposes.

Your duties should closely resemble the following:

https://www.acacia-au.com/anzsco/261211.php

But do not copy-paste, change it up as much as possible, and add your own responsibilities (which should closely match with the above anyway)..

For Checklist: http://www.acs.org.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0005/17636/Document-Checklist.pdf

Make sure your transcript details out generic subjects, for example if a course name is MATH 123, add a separate sheet explaining what did you study in MATH 123 ..

Any Designer or Animator help me

Hi, i am confused as my job roles include various tasks which i do. i worked as a senior visualizer for past 3 years in the company. my job role includes:

Intraction with Client servicing team on design layouts
Creating story board, 3d designs , 2d artwork , creating videos animations, walkthroughs, Events set designs, Exhibition stall designs, Editing videos, adding sound and text in videos or animations.

so i am confused which Anzasco code to apply for
Multimedia Designer - 232413 (Limited),
Illustrator - 232412 (Limited) or
Multimedia specialist - 261211 (Open)

[This has only some part of my job but not the all the points are covered regarding web developer but i do have the qualification to prove i.e Diploma from NIIT with system call programing (Honours) certificate]

I have done my Degree in Bachlors of Arts in Media Studies (Spl. in Animation and Digital Film Making) Lateral Entery 2yrs program

Also which to choose VETEESSES or ACS

Can any designer or animator will help me in this case

I think better to first know the implications of "Limited" and "Open" , it may be crucial for you.

Hi sunlight11

Thank you again for you kind response, well the Multimedia specialist - (open) consist of both multimedia designer and web developer role but i do not have web developer role in my work field.

so is it better to go with multimedia designer or illustrator which both are in (Limited) field. As i am an animator by profession.

Can you please help me out what to do as i have no idea what to choose. or where to go, i am arranging my documents and all my work experience letters are in the field of 3d animator and senior visualizer.

i have to get the letters again from my company stating my job role which i can get according to my preference as both the companies i worked for have good supporting managers who can verify my job roles if checked by assessing authority. so i can get any job role i want on my experience letter, please help

Have none of your created animations or design ideas ideas ever been used in any web development project or web application?

As far as I understand, the general idea is to have atleast 70-75% of the job roles mentioned in the acacia.com site, and the rest 25-30% may be moderately or loosely related to the chosen occupation.

But I guess someone who got positive assessment in Multimedia would be in a better position to comment.

Hi Gaurav,
Since you mentioned that your wife has studied in Australia, why don't you guys apply with her being the primary applicant? What has she studied there and what is her line of work and relevant work experience? It may help make up for more points with the fact that she's studied in Australia and considering that she is working and has sufficient work ex.

And oh by the way. If your only issue about agents is because they fleece you and don't do a proper job, it's best you go to a MARA registered agent and to confirm ask for their MARA Registration ID or look one up on the immigration website. That being said, it is not overtly difficult to do this oneself either.

Hi Dodo

Thank you very much, but my wife's field of study is political science and she has completed her 2nd masters in Social work from IGNOU i.e distance learning. but this is not possible now cause her assessment came negative from AITSL as in India in B.ED degree, the number of days worked in the field is not mentioned, also the ielts score was not upto the mark i.e 7 in each band.

But with the help of sunlight, i cleared my doubts all thanks to him, i am going for Multimedia Designer - 232412 , as it is my field of work but it is in limited in Canberra.

now just need my experience letters from my office in the format. just need to check on vetesses website now for more info. i dont wna go in to agent hassle again, as i already lost 1.5 lac rps due to them with my wife's case before. so in legal pursuite with them now.

i.e why i am here in for help with experts from all over the forum.
