A range of international healthcare products aimed at expats have been launched by the newest international private medical insurance (IPMI) provider in the sector.

With its headquarters based in Hong Kong and with offices in the UK and the United Arab Emirates, Now Health will offer its products worldwide.

The products, called WorldCare, are designed around the needs of individuals and companies who want to access international healthcare. Although traditionally targeted at the expat community, Now Health can also offer WorldCare to local nationals in many key territories.

‘We have set out to deliver a proposition that will be second to none in this, a fast growing and competitive market. Now Health is about providing a very high quality IPMI product and, as our name suggests, fast, accurate service and access to information in real-time through our website,’ said chief executive officer Martin Garcia.

‘This is coupled with our worldwide infrastructure and expert staff with local market knowledge. We believe that this combination will deliver an unsurpassed overall experience for our customers,’ he added.

‘We are very much looking forward to working with brokers and intermediaries. The reception we have received so far from key partners is very positive and we believe that our product, service model and online proposition sets us apart from other IPMI providers,’ he added.

It promises fast turnaround times, some of the highest benefit levels in the market and a simple online system. It says eligible claims will be processed within five working days and customers can mange their quotes online, view and download documents and access 24-hour emergency help.

Now Health was formed by a management team that brings over 65 years of experience across the IPMI sector alone, and is headed by Garcia, former group managing director of a leading European-based IPMI provider.  Tim Mutton takes the role of European Business Development Director for Now Health International based in the UK.

Now Health International, whose underwriting partner in Europe is AXA PPP healthcare, will be working with intermediaries and brokers in the UK and Europe to distribute its products.
