Hello All,

I & My wife have PR under subclass 189. We got this PR in Dec 2014 & didn't move to Australia due to family planning complications. In januray current year, we are blessed with baby child. We have got her passport & now she is 6 months old.

We want to apply for PR for her as we want to move in september or october month in current year. I see options as visa subclass 101 but it shows processing time of 7 to 9 months.

Is there any option in which we can get her PR visa in 2 to 3 months maximum? Reason for going in september or october month is that we can apply for resident return visa in year 2019 as we will complete 2 years stay in Australia. Otherwise, we wont be able to continue with staying in Australia & will have to return in Dec,2019.

Now all my confusion has vanished & can plan properly for my child PR application.

Regarding subclass 101 visa for my child, I studied the process and have one query as of now. Hope you can respond to it easily.

Do I & my wife both need to have PCC check from India at present? We have got our PCC check for India in 2013 to submit our Australian PR application. We have stayed in India for most of the time except in USA for 11 months in past 4 years. I think I don't require USA PCC check as I have stayed less than 1 year duration.

Hi Maggie,

I have applied for my child visa under visa subclass 101 last week. It is still to be assigned case officer.

I have to travel to Australia for project assignment around 8th January,2018.

Can you please let me know if I can apply tourist visa for my 10 months child? Can she travel along with me & my wife even her migration visa is under process?
