Hi there,

I have applied for VISA 190 now thing is we have a new child has born and he is added as dependent migrant but my wife is not added as dependent migrant as i did not add her as dependent migrant now my child is too young to travel alone with me and if i add my wife as dependent migrant they are asking extra fee.

What do you guys suggest if i add my child as dependent migrant and i do not take him along and his visa expires(because after grant letter you have to fly within a given time frame to validate the visa). So will there be a problem in future with my child case as he did not flew to Australia to validate his visa?

What do you suggest shall i go for it or should i invite them together once i settle down in Australia which VISA will i be needing that time?

Why not add your wife now otherwise it will cost you double to sponsor her later and you may be seperated from her and your son for up to a year.

You are right if i add my wife and child and pay the extra fee so they both will have an obligation to validate their visa as well or not because my child is too young and i do nt want my wife and child to travel to Australia right now but in the same time i want to get rid of applying separate VISA for them ?

How old is the baby? By the time you get the grant he will be older and older still by the date you have to validate by. If he was terribly prem' and doctors advised not flying and he is still receiving treatment that would be reason to get an extended validation date uf you provide medical evidence of such to your CO early on.

And you have not done medicals or PCC yet?

Only item that is outstanding is Medical

You will have 12 months from the date you completed PCC to validate, but if you add your wife she will need PCC also so you could get a new one too. You will then gave 12 months from the date of the new PCC or medical, whichever was done earliest. Baby will be fine to travel then and you will save a lot of money and time.
