Today, new proposed point system was supposed to be posted at DIAC website for review and public discussion ... But it is not there? Has it been postponed?

Q 4 When will the new SOL come into effect?
It is expected that the new SOL will be announced by
30 April 2010 and placed on the Department of
Immigration and Citizenship website and take effect from
mid-2010. Publication of the new SOL in advance of it
taking affect is designed to assist clients.[\quote]

moreover and may worth reading for forum members, Skill australia is nominated to issue new SOL. In choosing Skills Australia to develop the new skilled occupation list (SOL) for migration purposes, the federal government has demonstrated three things. First, skilled immigration is being fully integrated with domestic workforce planning. Second, the new hit list of occupations for skilled migrants, which is due to be released in April, is likely to contain fewer than 20 occupations. And third, Skills Australia is pushing ahead with its new workforce development strategy - even though it hasn't been released yet.
