Hi,

I have been granted a 489 visa and will be moving soon to Australia. I will be residing in NSW (Mid north coast) , kindly if any can help in giving information regarding the school fees. Some are saying that 489 visa we should pay international fees and others are saying that my kids are entitled to be in public schools with the minimum fees as any other permanent resident.

Kindly if you can advise since the 489 visa schooling is not clear to me.

regards to all

Hi,

Since 489 is a provisional visa, the fees may differ from PR holders.
Kindly refer to below link for NSW education Temporary Resident Program for more information.
Temporary Residents Program - DEC International

You can find conditions for 489 visa in the program below:

Thanks.
