Need Information regarding Australian Permanent Residence.

Please give me appropriate suggestion.

I am from india, i have been working 3 years as ship officer . I have completed B.sc. nautical science. I am willing to move to Canada permanently. Is there any visa i can apply to get PR. Or i need to go via student visa?
