Hi folks,
My wife and I are going to apply for 189 visa, she being the primary applicant.
I was just reading this wonderful forum about internal audit (which is the work she does) and I understood that it's a highly competitive category and requires 70+ points for an invitation.
Here's our dilemma:
Wife: Computer science engineer (so no courses of audit/finance mentioned in her final college marksheet), has been working with Ernst & Young for 7 years, her work is around IT risk mitigation for her clients, we thought of internal audit as a category for her after seeing the Skills Occupation List (SOL). But now I'm confused if we should go for that.
Me: Civil Engineer + MBA, worked with a telecom major for 3 years (split equally between sales and ops/strategy). Currently working in a startup in the field of healthcare management as a COO. Confused which skill in the SOL I can show.
(We are thinking of submitting 2 EOIs, one for my wife and one for me).
Can anyone suggest what's the best way of proceeding in this situation?
Thanks so much.
