Hello!

I am a Sudanese, married to an American living in London.

We are planning on moving to the US next year and have filled through the London Drop box the immigrant visa petition, Form I-130 (with all the required additional forms and documents).

Its been three months! The 500 USD credit card form was cashed, but we haven't heard anything from them. Is this normal? How long does it take?

So my questions are:
1. How long does it take before they get back to you
2. Is there anyway to contact the London embassy to enquire on the case?

Kind regards

Nehal

You should of heard something by now if you did DCF through London.

I would try and find out what is going on with your case!

A 3 month wait is not at all unusual. It's rather short, actually.

Do you have a receipt number? If so, you can track your case status online here. If not, ask USCIS in London for your receipt number.
