Hi there,

We are moving to st Nazaire soon and we need to find a primary school or our five year old daughter. My husband is French and his family have suggested a 'private' Catholic school as they think the classes are a bit smaller and she will get a little bit more attention. My husband has always spoken to her in French but she doesn't speak it. She has just finished reception in the U.K. And had a lovely experience. The private school fees at every low, I would like an international school but theres none nearby only in Nantes.

Does anyone have any recommendations of schools, public or private in the st Nazaire area or any advice generally on primary schools and what to look for/ consider?

TIA

You don't state what your objectives are, which would help to give advice.

If you want tolerance, elite family feeling, you might consider Diwan, especially for a child who is beginning to develop multi-language brain hardwiring.
So, you mention Diwan but it's bilingual French/ Breton? My daughter speaks English? When you say hard wiring, what are you referring to and what do you mean?

Many thanks. X
