Can anyone tell me if a TV bought in the US will work in the Middle East.

From what I can see the voltage is a problem, going from 110v to 220v. This can however be sorted out with a voltage convertor, which can apparently be bought over there. Does anyone know how much these cost over there?

The other problem I see is the signal, NTSC vs PAL.

What is the signal in the Middle East and will my LCD work over there, if not I don't see the use of shipping it over, I might as well get rid of it.

Can anyone help?

how old is the tv?
if it only a couple years old then you will have no problem with the voltage issue.
most newer tvs are set up to work pal or ntsc its an auto function that will automatically set the tv to whatever it needs to be.
I speak from exp, not out of my rear.
welcome to the forums.
