You could get a visa easily enough.
Job wise, I would of thought that sort of role shouldnt be a problem.

 

You say money wouldn't be a problem, but, I bet it is.

You will probably find that most of the admin/clerk roles will be filled by workers from India, Sri Lanka, Phillipines etc, and coming from the west, I very much doubt that you would even consider working for the money they are paid. If you were more of a specialist (within a certain sector) or having a senior position, then maybe.

I would strongly advise you do some good research into how viable your position would be here before you came over.

 

Thanks for both of your posts. Genuinelly, money wont be a drama, my friend and I just wanted to be able to move there to see the UAE over a year or so, and I wanted to make sure that I would be able to get some sort of employment (and a work visa) so I can earn a bit of pocket money in between seeing the sights at weekends/time off.
How would it work then? Do I apply for a job through recruitment type websites and then if I get a job they will do the visa side of things for me, or will I need to actually get to Dubai (on say a travel visa) and then look for work while in country?
