Hi there,

Moving from US to UK for 3-4 yrs, my office will be in Crawley and looking forward for advice on which are safe/good neighbourhood’s for a couple. Primary criteria is to be within 30-40mins of driving distance and budget ~£2.5K per month preferably not a flat.

Cheers

So you are not looking for a safe/good neighborhood in Crawley itself if you are OK with a 30-40 minute commute?
.... and with your office in Crawley and not Gatwick airport, Cuckfield, Horsham, Haywards Heath. You could also consider even as far as Brighton.

Thanks for sharing, yes office is in Crawley and we are considering to live at commutable distance so we can even get in and out of London too. Can you please recommend some areas north of Crawley too.. cheers

Bear in mind that you may be surprised how much it costs for rental in these areas.Whereabouts in Crawley is it? One of the industrial estates or "downtown"?
You may be better looking perhaps west of Crawley using Three Bridges station (Which may be closer than Crawley Station to your office) or even north of London using the Thameslink service
If you look at Wikipedia and search for Three Bridges Station that gives you a good resume of the routes you can use.
