No idea about schools but heres the info re uni Welcome - Study Assist

PR pay local fees but get no state help in loans help to pay them & student wouldn't get income support payments to help until they've been in the country for 2 yrs.

If not PR its international fees.

Does anyone know if you do not have PR do you have to pay for state schooling?

Jacqui
No you don't, NSW and ACT are the only states that charge for primary and secondary schooling, but they only charge 457 visa holders not PR.

However if you choose a private or religious school you have to pay, but Australians have too pay too.

Hi can anyone give me any info on Geraldton?

What is the best location to live there or in Perth and also does anyone know what the average wage is for a registrered nurse?

What % do we deduct from pay as tax an supperanuation?

What does medical care cost?

What are the best public and private schools?

Best wishes

Geraldton is a town of 40k and Perth is a city of 1.5 million.

Nurses Salaries are $75k to $83k depending on experience.

Tax is roughly (very roughly) 30% of gross, check ato.gov.au for exact rates.

Superanuation is paid by the employer over and above your salary (currently it's at 9% rising incrementally to 12% over the coming years)

Medicare is 1.5% of gross salary
