Hi,

I am planning to move in to Sydney sometime in January 2010. My office will be in the City Center (Pyrmont). Its me, my wife and 6 yr old daughter.

My priorities are:
~ Looking for a Location which is in a decent suburb (And is cosmopolitan)
~ Close to school
~ Close to Public Transportation to come in to office (City Center) in around 30 Mins
~ Relatively close to Groceries/Supermarkets etc

If my budget is around 500 - 600 AUD$ Per Week, can I hope to get a :

~ 2/3 Bedroom Apartment/House
~ with Car Parking
~ decent view
~ Swimming Pool options

Hi VPG:

You should be able to get places in most parts of Sydney with that budget. However due to the 30 min commute time I would concentrate on Eastern Suburbs, Lower North Shore, Inner West. Near a train line.

In Lower N Shore and Eastern Suburbs you'll get a unit, in Inner West you might get a house.

E Suburbs IMHO is the most cosmopolitan of the bunch.
