So confused keep getting different answers from the embassy. Thanks in advance xx

Moved over in January 2012 and brought our car with us.It was taxed in the U.K. until the end of April2012. When you take the car to be shipped remember to remove the tax disc, you can then claim a refund from the U.K. DVLA .(Can't remember the form number) If you dont have the disc they will charge you around £10 to process the refund. The refund can be paid directly into your bank account.
When you collect your car from the port in Cyprus you will be given a form from customs and excise which you keep in your vehicle until you regist:)er it with the Cypriot Authorities, and put on Cypriot plates. You are not allowed anything stuck on the windscreen.
Hope this clears up a few points.
