Hi

I am a US citizen born in UK and I have a US and UK passport. My wife has a US passport and was born in the US. We want to (semi) retire in France. My question is do I have a right to stay in France as long as I want and to also work in France if necessary? And is my wife entitled to apply for a visa to stay in France. Thanks..

Even better than that! You can live in France with a UK passport - and your wife can simply apply for a carte de sejour (residence permit) on arrival. No visa needed.
Cheers,
Bev
Awesome. thanks Bev. Do you think my wife's son (US citizen, US passport) would be able to get a carte de sejour too ?!!
