I just had a look on the net and they have given a table with brackets of cash savings:

- £25,000
-£33,000

so I don't have to use the above exact? I can go Inbetween?

Who is "they"?

The amount that you will need in cash savings will depend on how much you are earning. If you are earning £13,000 then as salix said, you will need exactly £30,000 in savings. The calculation is: the shortfall from £18,600 times 2.5 plus £16,000.

If you are short of the requirement in earnings there is an exact amount that you will need in savings. There is no range.
